There Are No Restrictions For Magic & Miracles!
Most people turn to Wicca because they love nature and they feel drawn to this peaceful earth religion. But a few seem to seek the Craft in hopes to find a magical solution for the challenges in their life. Some have spent years jumping from one path to another, looking for the one that will finally help them get their life in order.
This brings to mind a line from the movie Six Days and Seven Nights, where Harrison Ford was telling Anne Heche that people often came to the island looking for love, but as far as he was concerned, "If they don't bring it with, they ain't gonna find it!" The power of the Divine can be like that too. If we keep hoping to find it through a specific group or organization, we may have a long journey ahead of us.
The truth is, the Divine is within us, and will be with us no matter what path we choose to take. We don't have to be a member of a certain group to experience magic or miracles in our life. We bring the power of the Divine with us on every path we journey down and can tap into it whenever we need to. There are no restrictions!

I can easily relate to this article since I'm still bounding back between Wicca and The Craft. I'm leaning very much toward Wicca because it seems to be more structured and since I'm the same way I feel more at ease with it. I know that Wicca, The Craft, and even Asatru are going through their reconstruction since there's so much that's been lost in history so I feel that I can 'build' my own paths within Wicca to fulfill my personal needs.

I agree, you don't need to join a group to get the magic - it's within you, it's been there all the time. A group acts as a community of friends who will help you harness your own power, something you cannot learn without the help and advice of others, which I seek - how to use the power within me to become the best I can be, and not hurt others; also I want to learn how to lift evil spells that were placed so they lose their effects. Unfortunately, there are some pagans who do place them, even knowing as a pagan it can come back to harm them threefold.
If placed on someone who were not pagan, who did not know this or of a spell being cast, would they feel safe in placing the spell? I need to learn now, if I believe such spell has been placed, which I do, how to break it.
I lost a boyfriend, job, friends, license, and went temporarily insane. I was shunned and "disabled." Get the drift? I just want a happy life again.
The things I went through were very much not normal when it happened. I have someoone who truly enjoyed what happened. This person only wanted me away from my boyfriend. It should not have occurred. I say again, I only want to learn how to remove a spell, not harm its placer.

Are all wiccans vegeterians and do wiccans believe in god in addition to their other beliefs?

Although I am new to this, I have always wanted to study wiccan. It's not so much hoping for miracles, there is no such thing. Believe me I have had a lot of heartaches and set backs in my life. But like a lot of people on here, I like the idea of being with nature. I believe there is a God but I also believe there is more to things than what the bible says. I too have looked into different religions, and am still looking into this. I really like the ideas that the wiccan faith has more that the others.

I completely agree. The Goddess and God are us. We are them. How does Tori put it? "Devils and Gods, they are you and I. Devils and Gods, safe and inside." If we enter into anything with an ignorant or selfish heart what can we expect to gain from it? Likewise, abundance can be had when we live with a giving and forgiving soul. You take out only what you put in. I'm not sure a religion is meant to give us answers. The answers are what you find when you let go of image and pride and let your self simply be. That's the only way to See.

I think my favorite charge of the goodess puts it perfectly:
Do not look too long for me in books, though these may tell of me inspiringly.
Nor in tools and trappings, though these may be beautiful and worthy symbols.
For it is in the richness of the earth and the boundlessness of the sky that my true temple is to be found.
Look for me within these things, but most of all within your own heart.
For it is there I am...and beyond.
As for being "drawn to Wicca", I believe you either get the call or you don't. The call of the Goddess is no different than the Catholic priest who accepts the call to service of the Christian God. When the goddess said to us, "I give you certainty, not faith, in this life...", I truly believe that it's because we can clearly see our beliefs all around us in nature. The seasons give us reincarnation, the lifeforms teach us the duality of our creator as god/goddess, and the power that we feel inside when we commune should show the undeniable presence of magick all around us.
All Blessings Be. )O(

This makes sense to me however i find it extremely difficult to decipher the differences between Wicca and The Craft. My father is or was a high preist and is very in touch with the magical workings. I have been in this struggles for 2 years now and have learned a lot about both.
